Physical Characteristics: It is thought that the graduates of this department do not have physical disabilities in order to perform the duties required by their profession, and that they can also successfully perform the duties of the physically disabled in accordance with their physical discomfort.
Ability: Must be interested in office services, skilled in documenting information, prone to work that requires manual dexterity and patience, must have proper diction, be successful in human relations and have the ability to perceive patient psychology.
Interest: Must have an interest in computers, office equipment and machines and other automation devices, foreign languages and medical terminology.
Internship Practices and Duration During Higher Education:
Title and working areas of those who complete the program: Health Technician (They can also use the title of Medical Secretary with the decision of the YÖK Executive Board numbered 92.26.698.)
Job Opportunities: Provided that they have passed the KPSS exam and are appointed, they can work as Medical Secretary, Patient Consultant, Patient Files Archivist and Management Secretariat in Public Institutions and Organizations and Private Health Institutions and Organizations in this sector.
